The boat holiday on the Amalfi coast “A pedal escape” is a 7-day cruise through the islands of the Gulf of Naples (Procida, Ischia and Ventotene), Sorrento and Castellammare. This Cruise is for small groups and includes accommodation on board, an experienced skipper and more.
DAY 1: PROCIDA
Boarding and accommodation in the cabin with a welcome cocktail. Departure for Procida. Dinner and evening stroll along the harbour.
DAY 2: PROCIDA
Day dedicated to the first bike excursion to discover the island that offers truly suggestive views. Starting from the port, you can visit the village of Terra Murata and the fishing village of Marina Corricella, famous for being the location of important films such as Massimo Troisi's "Il Postino".
Continue to Pozzo Vecchio beach, also known as the Postino beach, and then continue going around the whole of Procida and visiting Punta Pizzaco, Punta Solchiaro and the tourist port of Marina Chiaiolella.
Before returning by boat to set sail for Ischia, a stop at the Marina Grande is scheduled to taste a lemon granita from Procida (famous for its size and sweetness).
Once in the boat, we sail to the bay of S. Pancrazio, where we stop for lunch and for moments of relaxation.
Before sunset, we sail to the bay of S. Angelo. Dinner and evening walk in the charming village of Ischia.
DAY 3: ISCHIA
Half a day dedicated to relaxation in the natural pools of the bay of Sorgeto.
In the afternoon we will continue towards the port of Forio, another town on the island.
Dinner on the boat and walk through the town centre up to the Soccorso church, from where you can admire a breathtaking view.
DAY 4: ISCHIA
Day dedicated to a bike excursion around the island. Two itineraries are available: one simple and suitable for all types of cyclists and one of medium difficulty. The first involves a journey of about twenty or 20 km that leads from Forio to the discovery of Sant’Angelo. The second, the one of medium difficulty, involves a 36 km journey to discover an unprecedented and hidden Ischia: you start from Forio, pass through Lacco Ameno, turn immediately onto Via Cigliano towards the coast and the Church of S. Francis. After a visit to the Mortella gardens, continue to Casamicciola and Ischia Porto to get to Ischia Ponte. We leave for the village of Fiaiano where, in a splendid pine forest, it is possible to rest and relax before resuming the downhill ride towards Casamicciola and finally Forio. Dinner and relaxation on the boat and, for those who want, a walk through the city streets.
DAY 5: VENTOTENE
Navigation to Ventotene, arrival around lunchtime. Stop in Cala Nave for lunch and relaxation. Mooring in the ancient Roman port, entirely dug into the rock by the ancient Romans more than 2000 years ago.
Dinner and walk to the square from which you can admire a privileged view of the islet of S. Stefano.
DAY 6: VENTOTENE / PROCIDA
Day dedicated to the exploration of the wild Ventotene. By booking, you can reach the island of S. Stefano to explore the prison. In the afternoon we sail towards Ischia.
DAY 7: PROCIDA / CASTELLAMMARE DI STABIA
After a tasty breakfast where you can taste the famous Ischian staples (typical sweets), we will sail towards Naples and have lunch in a quiet bay near Procida
