The catamaran and sailing holiday “Following Ulysses”, which is part of the Sail And Taste and Sail And History experience, is an Italian history tour that allows you to discover the Pontine archipelago from one of the most unique points of view.

With the sailing tour Following Ulysses!, you have a 7 day tour package taking you through Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, Procida, Ischia, Ventotene, Ponza, Palmarola. The Following Ulysses is a small group tour that includes accommodation as well as an expert guide and more.

DAY 1: ISCHIA
Boarding and accommodation in the cabin with a welcome cocktail. Departure for Ischia, mooring in the roadstead in S. Angelo, dinner and evening walk through the charming village between restaurants and bars by the sea.
DAY 2: PONZA EAST COAST
The morning is dedicated to the discovery of the bays around the island, before heading to the island of Ponza. Along the way, you will be able to see Ventotene: we'll visit that island on our way back home. Arrive in Ponza around 18:00. Time for a refreshing bath before diving into the island's nightlife.
DAY 3: PONZA WEST COAST
We set sail to discover the endless bays of Ponza: the West coast offers plenty of choices. The wind will help decide which ones you will be able to visit. Dinner is scheduled at the Monte Guardia restaurant, from which you can admire a breathtaking view of the bay of the port of Ponza.
DAY 4: PALMAROLA
Day on the island of Palmarola. Excursions in the morning between stacks, caves and ravines. Dives and swims immersed in unspoiled nature.
Circumnavigation of the island in the afternoon and stop at the port at sunset. Aperitif on board or the beach. Night under the stars in the quiet of the uninhabited Palmarola.
DAY 5: VENTOTENE
Navigation to Ventotene and arrival around lunchtime. Stop in Cala Nave for lunch and relaxation.
Mooring in the harbour in front of the ancient Roman port, entirely carved into the rock by the ancient Romans more than 2000 years ago.
Dinner and walk to the square from where you can admire the islet of S. Stefano.
DAY 6: ISCHIA
Morning dedicated to the exploration of the wild Ventotene. You can reach the island of Santo Stefano to explore the prison by booking a guided tour, which starts from the Roman port. In the afternoon, the cruise on a sailing boat resumes, heading for the island of Ischia. You arrive and stop in Ischia Ponte, in the evening there is dinner and a visit to Ischia Porto, the main city of the island.
DAY 7: PROCIDA
Arrive in Procida and relax moored in the suggestive Corricella bay, a fishing village characterized by multicoloured houses. Do not miss the climb to the Terra Murata prison, a medieval village overlooking the sea, and a visit to the terrace of the abbey of San Michele. In the afternoon navigation to Marina di Stabia and arrival at the destination when the sun goes down. Shower before diving into the nightlife of the centre of Castellammare di Stabia. There will be a toast to the fantastic sailing cruise just spent in one of the waterfront venues.
Accommodation
This sailing tour is hosted aboard luxurious yachts, between 41 feet and 52 feet. Based on the number of crew, the yacht can have from 3 to 5 cabins with 2/3/4 bathrooms. All yachts have a spacious dinette equipped with ovens, refrigerators and everything needed for cooking. The external deck is equipped with cushions both in the cockpit and on the deck at the bow. The whole crew, even if numerous, will find space on board, both to lie down in the sun and to rest in the shade of the bimini.Price
