First of all a theoretical session for all sailors: Runs, Maneuvers, Adjustment of Genoa and Main Sail. The theme of security and roles is also addressed by introducing the first metaphors: The boat and its crew represent the company’s operation and its potential.
11:30 – 02:00
Let’s do what learned right away. But first, a look at the weather that in a business context is equivalent to assessing the market in which it will operate and the ability to anticipate trends. We finally get off at the sea, see the sails and get to know the equipment. The roles are also established: not only the skipper but also the remaining crew. In this way other metaphors are conveyed: The figure of the skipper is synonymous of leadership: guiding, motivating and managing a team of work. Very strong also is the parallelism that can be established between different roles of the crew and corporate roles, teamwork and empowerment of the results.

Introduction of regatta techniques and rules: departure, choice of the optimal route, the edge of the winch to reach the overhang, the turn, the sail / stern navigation, the stunt, the arrival.
